		<description>This brings to mind a recent series of photographs I&#039;ve seen from the photographer Susana Raab that looks at the homes of Southern writers William Faulkner, Eudora Welty, and Flannery O&#039;Connor, called, appropriately enough: A Sense of Place.  I purchased a small catalog of hers that combines quotes from the writers with her photographs and illustrates perfectly this symbiotic tie of community, soil, and inspiration.
