I love the ideas, esp. unplug/disconnect and a do not drive day. I try to have 3 no spending days a week (I don't count auto bill payments in this though). I cannot eat out, get gas, groceries, etc. I try to get them in early in the week to give me an out if I feel I need something. But it is amazing how much easier it is to save if you aren't in a store for days!

Great article!

My friend sent me the article as she is seeking more quality in her time spent.

I would only add one technique; Consider that there is only 'one day' and it is called 'eternity'. Decaying bodies and light-to-dark planetary cycles are powerful distractions, but they must not totally define us in time and space.

Peace and thanks,
With Shaolin Salute...

A terrific addition, Dwight. The benefits (for oneself and the world around one) of freeing oneself of the wheel are not to be underestimated! ~Mark

Good article.

I have one more suggestion. Declare a no-drive day. I occasionally like to limit myself to places I can walk to. That little simplification does great things for the soul. It also frees up enough time to do some of the other things you suggested.
