Election Day was like nothing I have ever experienced -- an entire country brought together in reverence (and sometimes joy) over the process of voting for our next leader. I had a party at my house that night, and while it was great to have a gathering of friends, my one regret is that I wasn't somewhere where I could go out into the streets and mingle with joyful strangers. The next morning, getting a coffee, I said to the barista, "I wish I had hugged someone I didn't know!" It is so heartening to see that this country can still come together in that way, in a moment of joy instead of a moment of tragedy. isn’t it wonderful? It was hurting her. I found your post "Resources for Election Day". It was the perfect medication for her "soul sickness".
